Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd's combat sport journey started at the age of 14. She studied kickboxing, boxing and wrestling before she made her first appearance in amateur competition at WCFC before Jaimee Nievera. Ladd was on a stunning 3-fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat. In the three fights, she defeated her opponent right in the first round. After that, she returned to WCFC in which she beat Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen won against Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia dominated Aspen to defeat her in a unanimous decision, putting the mark of a loss on Aspen's record in her amateur. Ladd took her bout against Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 mark. Aspen made her professional debut in 2015, and was signed by Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011 and won via one-round TKO. Invicta 16, she was able to move from Bantamweight to the fight against Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen's superior wrestling skill was able to take down McGill, and she was able to end her third round with a TKO (elbows as well as punches). Aspen then faced Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. Aspen fought Hoy with the catchweight (138.1lb) since Ladd did not make weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy until she was defeated in the 2nd round via TKO. Invicta FC 21, she was victorious in her last fight for the promotion by unanimous decision. Her UFC debut took place in UFC Fight Night 118 when she faced Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina and pounded her with a ground-and-pound for a second-round TKO victory. Then, in her third fight she beat Tonya Evinger even more impressively. Ladd took the win at the start of round one, and received the Performance of the Night Prize. Invicta FC's Sijara Ebanks was her opponent in an rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was her first major match. The two fights were a close fight that Ladd won by unanimous decision. The two fighters each received an award called the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie put an end to Ladd's winning streak in just 16 seconds. In the third round of UFC at ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. As a replacement She fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. Her loss was a unanimous one.
