Anne Lockhart was born Anne Kathleen Maloney, September 6th 1953. She is an American actor. She is well known for her portrayal of Lieutenant Sheba in the television series Battlestar Galactica (1978-1979). She is the granddaughter and daughter of actors Gene Lockhart, as well as actor June Lockhart. Lockhart began her acting career in the early years. The role she would take was in the TV series Battlestar Galactica, which aired from 1978. Initially, she rejected the role because she thought it was too weak. Glen came up with a completely new role for her, featuring Sheba being a more formidable persona. The first 25-page script was read by her, and she immediately endorsed it. It ran for a single season. She starred with Desi Arnaz Jr. (son of Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball) Melanie Griffith and Robert Carradine in the film Joyride (1977) and also co-starred with Michael Moriarty in the horror movie The Dark Tower (1987).
