Catherine Tate

CatherineCatherine Jane Ford, born 5 December 1969 was an English comedian, actress, and writer. She has won numerous awards for her work on the BBC sketch comedy show The Catherine Tate Show (2004-2007) and also being nominated for an International Emmy Award and seven BAFTAs. Tate played Donna Noble in the 2006 Christmas special of Doctor Who, and later was cast in the same role as the Tenth Doctor's regular companion for the fourth series in 2008. [2] Tate was the protagonist of Joanie Taylor ("Nan") as a comedy character she played in The Catherine Tate Show (2009-2015). She also starred in The Nan Movie (2022). In the year 2011, Tate began an ongoing role as Nellie Bertram in the U.S. version of The Office as well as a regular character until the show ended. Tate portrayed the role of Miss Sarah Postern (2013-2014), and Magica de Spell (2017-2021) in the BBC One sitcom Big School. In 2022, Tate starred as six characters in the Netflix comedy series, Hard Cell, which she also wrote and directed.
